In an exclusive interview, a Chinese whistleblower tells the story of how he helped Chinese officials source massive amounts of medical supplies from around the globe, during the pandemic.
Hong Kong police arrested two opposition lawmakers this Wednesday. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticized HSBC for reportedly shutting down accounts of pro-democracy Hong Kong media executives. And some local artists are turning to self-censorship for fear of violating the new law.
A group of people in work uniforms are seen crawling in front of a business building. This is a form of punishment given to those who fail to achieve a satisfactory performance in their jobs.
And the US sanctioned 24 Chinese firms involved in helping Beijing advance its territorial claims in the South China Sea, and a Chinese chemist who they called ‘one of the most significant drug traffickers in the world.’
A paper document-shredding truck was spotted next to the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco on Monday. That's after the same kind of truck appeared in front of the Chinese Consulate in New York a mere 3 weeks ago.
