Pitching Our Petition at Parliament

On 24 March 2026, the Positive Money team headed to Parliament to brief MPs and invited guests on our petition that was being considered by the Finance and Expenditure select committee. Our petition called for an inquiry into the use of direct monetary financing at zero or near zero interest rates to support New Zealand’s massive, looming infrastructure upgrade.
