Passo del Rombo (Timmelsjoch) // BMW R 1200 GS // Raw Onboard

The Passo del Rombo (Timmelsjoch pass) is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.509m (8,231ft) above the sea level that creates a link through the Ötztal Alps along the border between Austria and Italy. It is one of the highest mountain passes of the Alps and one of my favorite.

The is the entire ride lenghts from the south (Italy) to the north (Austria). Right before the roads hits the hairpin turn section I spotted an Austrian rider on a naked bike and he spotted me. I guess he did not want to risk getting passed by a BMW R 1200 GS so he picked up the pace. It made for a fun ride up the mountain I finally caught up with him at the top of the pass but never did catch him ;-)
