Norman Osborne is the Green Goblin. His manically obsessed with his company and his experiments that lead to him becoming the Green Goblin. When he was alive, Norman neglected his son. After his death, Norman haunts his son and makes him insane. The impact on Harry is he eventually takes on his father’s vengeance and becomes the Green goblin.
Norman is a father who is imposing his goals and his desires onto his son. Harry is being physically and psychologically damaged by his father’s obsessions.
