String Quartet No. 2 — #MIDI #Mockup (#VSL #Synchron #Solo #Strings) | Short 2

String Quartet No. 2 is a modern classical composition that brings together a traditional structural framework and a contemporary harmonic and expressive language. I wrote it several years ago, and this release marks its first fully realized presentation in digital form — much like my String Quartet No. 3, which followed from the same period of work. The entire production — from mixing to mastering — is my own work, ensuring the sonic result stays true to my original vision. Virtual instruments were employed to render the string writing with the kind of nuance and dynamic range a live quartet would bring.
