This is the first episode of the new playlist dedicated to presenting Adil Kabbaj’s book: *Science Proclaims Materialism is Dead: From Substantialism to Non-Substantialism*, Iff Books, 2026.
This episode covers the introduction and general context of the book. It briefly traces the birth and development of modern and contemporary materialism, following the development of modern science and philosophy (17th–19th centuries), as well as the birth and development of the current materialist world system and global civilization, with their well-known disastrous consequences. Fortunately, in parallel with all this, contemporary science and philosophy (from the 20th century to the present day) have undergone exponential development and a major scientific-philosophical revolution leading to the rejection of materialism and substantialism. The book focuses on the contribution of contemporary physics to this great revolution.
