Clive Palmer celebrates United Australia candidate selections on his $8.3 million mega-yacht

Mining Magnate Clive Palmer has showcased his new $8.3 million mega-yacht for the first time at a dock in far North Queensland.

Mr Palmer is in Townsville to endorse newly selected candidates for his United Australia Party.

Candidates were invited onto the the yacht after a press conference on Saturday.

Mr Palmer bought the vessel from a Melbourne businessman in July.
