Saying responses such as “thank you for bringing that up!” and “thank you for asking that!” when staff ask us questions or bring up concerns, let them know that we appreciate them reflecting on whatever is going on. Most importantly, it helps demonstrate that we appreciate feedback/questions in our culture. As long as it feels genuine, your enthusiasm to teach and responses will encourage others to do the same.
