Hello everyone.
I will be giving an explanation of the strat for the Silos 4db hunt
I got this idea from a friend kayac I used to hunt with, a couple of years ago.
He got me and my friend Poko hunting the silver rathalos and golden rathian on arena at the same time quest with double blades a lot of times and it was really fun.
We used the same strategy here with a couple of changes, that consist of flashing silos and going under him to make him fall by hitting the legs.
I joined a Silos hunt the other day and went with Double Blades, he was tripping a lot and I remember the hunts we did with kayac and wanted to figure out how good we can do this silos.
This run is not the fastest one we got by one second, but it is the most smooth run we got, which I consider better for a video, you can watch the other run on Arxx Channel.
When we did the hunts with kayac and poko we used Full White Fatalis set with Garuga and Uka DB but that was not the optimum set.
We went 4 poison db also 4 thunder and 4 water in other tries but the best ones were the water and poison db runs.
So we are combining both here as slan suggested, 2 db with poison is enough to keep Silos poisoned and the water double blades does a lot of dmg.
The point was to do a full staggerlock on the legs to silos but that requires too much rng and we were not getting the stagger all the time as you can see in the video
We tried also to make the demon dance of the double blades in the correct second when silos is in the ground to get the staggerlock but we were still not getting it all the time, if you watch closely, we are trying to do the demon dance when silos does his 3rd moaning while on the ground.
So we went to do the most staggers we could at the legs and I went to flash him if necessary (I was actually using a 30sec timer on the second screen of my pc to get the flashes in the correct second).
And this is the result! Im happy with this run and I hope you like it, thanks for reading.
