I will be posting new videos on my website.

This large work was not filmed as a demo video but I took work in progress photos as I completed the artwork, this was a slow process and uses one of my hand cut stencils similar to the previous video.

I'm working on heavyweight paper that is primed and suitable to use with oil paint, colours used are Prussian Blue and Vandyke Brown.

I use a cotton bud, sponges and rags to achieve the effects. The stencil didn't fill the composition so I extended it with improvised free hand drawing.

The video shows an edited series of still images with the final work shown at the end. I created this work during a break from working on my studio building and it's one of the first pieces I completed in my new studio.
