Hawala Money Seized at Secunderabad | ₹1.2 Crore Cash Recovered in Train

Secunderabad Railway Police arrested a man who was transporting hawala money from Mumbai to Secunderabad, seizing ₹1.2 crore in cash from his possession. The accused was apprehended at Malkajgiri Railway Station while traveling aboard the Devagiri Express. During interrogation, the suspect confessed that he was carrying the hawala cash on the instructions of Vijay Ambadas Gupta, a Maharashtra resident, and was tasked with delivering the money to a jewelry shop in Monda Market. Police stated that the accused was being paid ₹5,000 to transport the cash from a gold trader in Mumbai to another gold trader in Hyderabad. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
