Do you want to know how I moved to Spain as a young person in their 20s and how you can do? Do you like the idea of moving abroad and enjoying an amazing European country? Also, how do I make supplemental income to support extra things like travel, shopping, unique experiences, and much more?
I'm an Auxiliar de Conversación in Madrid Spain, on my 2nd consecutive year of doing it. It's a unique language program where the Spanish government places native English speakers from the U.S. and Canada, and other native speaking countries in Europe like the United Kingdom and Ireland into local Spanish elementary, middle, and secondary schools in practically every town, city, providence, and region of Spain. That includes the Balearic Islands and the Canary Island! You're role is to be work with the English teachers of each school and either teach in tandem, or serve as their assistant. Prior experience isn't fully required, but experience in education would definitely help. The job allows you get to a sponsored visa, so you can live here for an extended period, legally. The visa helps you acquire you a local ID (TIE - Tarjeta Internacional Extranjero), full coverage private health insurance, the ability to open a bank account and rent, etc. Who is the program for and what's the basic process of getting hired?
