To Sushant’s memories

It’s difficult to understand when someone so young, charismatic and successful, in a sudden surge of emotions, takes a decision to end their life. No matter what the circumstances, there’s no rationale behind suicide. It’s inexplicable. Yet, it happens. It’s happening even now. Somewhere. With or without a justifiable reason.
But, there IS a hole somewhere. Very deep. Sushant got sucked into that hole. Many are sitting on the edge of that hole, about to flip any moment now.
And, this is not about courage. It took great courage for an intelligent, disciplined and highly qualified young Sushant to come so far away to Mumbai to make a career in one of the most uncertain and unforgiving industries in the world. And, he did very well. It took courage to donate so much money to flood victims in Nagaland and Kerela and many more places, but not seek publicity for it.
Loneliness can kill. Loneliness & Depression. We must help as many as we can. We must become more aware and sensitive towards the ones we know are battling with these two silent killers. Today is the best day to pick up that phone. Now is the best time.
