Labor says it’s fighting inflation but ‘its policies are feeding it’: Bronwyn Bishop

Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says the Albanese government has a got an inflation problem because “its policies have fed it”.

“This government has got an inflation problem because its policies have fed it,” Ms Bishop told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Increase in wages, letting petrol prices go through the roof, the fact that these industrial relations laws are pushing it along.

“It says we’re fighting inflation but all of its policies feed it.

“What does Grim Jim do? He gives us a salad sandwich; there’s nothing.”
