भाजपमध्ये प्रवेश केल्यानंतर माजी मंत्री प्राजक्त तनपुरे यांच्या विधान परिषदेच्या उमेदवारीची चर्चा रंगली आहे. मात्र, यावर थेट भाष्य टाळत पक्ष देईल ती जबाबदारी प्रामाणिकपणे पार पाडणार असल्याचे तनपुरे यांनी स्पष्ट केले. दरम्यान, त्यांच्या प्रवेशामुळे राहुरीच्या विकासाला गती मिळेल, असा विश्वास आमदार अक्षय कर्डिले यांनी व्यक्त केला.

Following his entry into the BJP, speculation has intensified over a possible Legislative Council nomination for former minister Prajakt Tanpure. While avoiding direct comments on the issue, Tanpure said he would sincerely fulfill any responsibility assigned by the party. MLA Akshay Kardile also welcomed the move, saying it would accelerate development in Rahuri.
