The ability to take setbacks! You need to be resilient and not give up easily not even after experiencing losses and setbacks. If you are the kind of person that has to be right all the time, then you will struggle to push forward.

Discipline - you need to have a level of discipline. Most of us will have issues with trading discipline at this point; we are all human after all. But if you have a gambling tendency, your self-control isn't as good as it should be then be very careful before getting into trading.

Attention to detail - Where has your best performance come from? The ability to take all the information you've got and be very focused on the outcome.

Ego - no ego whatsover - if you have an ego you need to have the ability to put it in check. You need to cut losses when trades are proven wrong.

Emotional Control. The ability to understand where your emotions are going; feeling elation or panicky about your trades is not a good sign. If you get very angry easily or very excited easily then maybe trading is not for you because trading amplifies your emotions.
