Launched in 2010, AliExpress is a leading global retail e-commerce platform that enables consumers to purchase directly from manufacturers worldwide.

To accelerate global user acquisition, AliExpress partnered with Snapchat and leveraged Snapchat’s latest SKOverlay ad format across key international markets, including North America, Europe, and the Middle East, with a focus on driving app purchases. To further enhance campaign performance, AliExpress integrated the Conversions API (CAPI) with support from the Snap team, which significantly enhanced signal quality.

The campaign successfully delivered 50x more first-time buyers in the US at a 13% lower cost, demonstrating Snapchat’s strong effectiveness in driving scalable e-commerce growth.
