EDIT: I forgot to include a shot of me weighing the box, it came to be around 770 g, which is about right (+/- 10g) for a WOTC box, so if you have a digital scale and the weight is off more than this, than that's the simplest way to tell.

This is a video to help bring awareness and warn everyone from the deception and treacherous scamming that has been occurring recently in the Pokemon Community by nefarious individuals (selling fake resealed product to collectors and investors who know no better .

From what I can figure out is that there are TWO distinct perpetrator for this con, one form either UK or Australia, and the other from USA (West Virginia to be exact). The fake resealed boxes form UK are easier to spot, usually the boxes are in immaculate and case fresh condition, the wrapper will have a BIGGER than normal size wizard of the coast logo, comparative to the original size (like the one shown in my video.)
With that being said, I don't believe there are too many fake "resealed" boxes out their, and I honestly feel this method was engineered rather recently 2020, maybe even just a few months back (September 2020), so if you come across an individual who has proof of purchase, or he has owned the box for over 10 years or so or even lets say pre 2020, I would feel more comfortable with such a person, but again I would say you must do due diligence from now on.
TCA Gaming has done a video about the 1st Edition Base Set Booster Box he has been scammed for and recently “Collector’s” Guru; recently met a wave of embarrassment when his box was opened live by the poor investor who lost $300K down the drain.

But that box (and the early greenwing base box) are actually fairly common to see resealed, but to see Unlimited base and beyond with genuine or replica wrapping and this is a whole new ball game.

I try to highlight the problems and red flags with the 1st Edition Jungle Booster Box my friend has recently purchased from a guy "claiming" his mother had it for many years.
