How to Use GoDaddy Domains with AWS Route 53 Hosted Zones
Do you want to attach a domain purchased in any registrar to AWS services? Stick around to find out how. In this AWS + Rails tutorial we going to be tackling a subscriber requested tutorial.
Sandeep wanted to follow along with the AWS + Rails tutorial series, but use a domain purchased through a different registrar. We walk though how to accomplish this in AWS with Route 53 Hosted Zones. For my example, I purchase a domain off screen through GoDaddy. This domain will be used for a future tutorial series and will therefore be blurred out for this video -- to follow that future series you will need to subscribe!

Flush DNS cache on Mac
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache;sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
I typically add this as an alias like so
alias flush="sudo dscacheutil -flushcache;sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder;say 'get flushed'"
