US, Iran to sign much-awaited peace deal on Friday

All eyes will be on Switzerland on Friday.

A major diplomatic moment could be just days away after Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said a memorandum agreed with the United States is set to be formally signed in Switzerland on Friday.

Gharibabadi said the deal includes an immediate end to military operations and the lifting of the US naval blockade on Iran. While Washington and Tehran have both confirmed that an understanding has been reached, the full details have yet to be released.
