6 Power Function (Square & Cube Root)

The POWER function in Excel is used to raise a number to a specified power. It can also calculate square roots, cube roots, and other roots using fractional exponents.
Common Uses
✅ Find the square of a number.
✅ Find the cube of a number.
✅ Calculate square roots using 1/2.
✅ Calculate cube roots using 1/3.
✅ Perform mathematical calculations in Excel formulas.
Important Notes
=POWER(number,2) is the same as =number^2.
=POWER(number,1/2) is equivalent to the SQRT function.
Negative numbers with fractional powers may return #NUM!.
