Newest addition to our New Artist Showcase is a young lady named Marta Altesa an extraordinary bass player ! In this video she plays the song " Look Around " recorded by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. If you know of this rocking band they have an insanely talented bass player named Flea. We love this band for its rhythm section of Chad Smith and Flea. Marta has killer chops and nails this song chord for chord ! Flea , John Entwistle , Geezer Butler , Geddy Lee , Cliff Burton , Jaco Pastorius , Victor Wooten , John Paul Jones , Stanley Clarke are the cream of the crop when it comes to bass players. Soon Marta Altesa will belong to that list of the greatest bass players !
She primarily does covers of Jamiroquai and a few other bands. She makes such stellar use of ghost notes and her playing is just rife with rhythm and groove. It's rare to find such high quality covers with good playing AND good tone.
She's had musical training since she was very young (father is a piano player)

From a very young age, Marta was in contact with various musical instruments.
