Join me as I visit Eden Wool Gathering — one of the most fun and unique wool festivals I've ever experienced! 🎉🐑

Held at the historic Whithorn Roundhouse, this event brought together passionate fiber artists, local farmers, indie dyers, and curious creatives for a day full of color, texture, and community. From hands-on demos and beautiful handmade goods to fascinating techniques like inkle loom weaving, thrumming, and natural dyeing — this gathering was anything but ordinary!

I met Wendy Eskine from Eden Textiles Studio, the amazing organiser behind it all. I also picked up some gorgeous mini skeins from Untethered Yarn, and couldn’t resist grabbing a new pattern from Wee County Yarns!

Come along as I explore the booths, chat with makers, squish all the yarn (of course), and share what made this wool festival feel so different and refreshing. Whether you're a knitter, crocheter, spinner, or just wool-curious — you’re in for a treat!
