Kung fu, Art of life: Britt Miree Abrahamsen at TEDxArendal
Writer, artist and wushu (Kung-fu)-practioner from Norway, have spend all her adult life travelling, studying and working abroad. Her core-areas of interest are the ex-Soviet-union, Middle-East and China where she has been practicing wushu for the last five years.
Britt Miree has one belief; "Everything is possible -- and where there is will, there is a way". Britt Miree tries to pull out as much inspiration from the the unpleasant happenings in life as the more happy ones, and also tries to pass on this energy, besides this, she enjoys trying out the fine balance between incurable optimism vs. foolhardiness. Britt Miree is a little childish, because when people say: "You can not do it", she will be absolutely determined to try it out. Working abroad, in such places, such as Syria, Russia, Israel, Byelorussia etc. Britt Miree has published five books, hundreds of articles and is often taking part in exhibitions, displaying her paintings and photos.
