Modern recreation of Jane Seymour, the third wife of King Henry VIII, who became Queen of England in 1536, after the execution of Henry’s second wife, Anne Boleyn. Known for her gentle nature, she successfully provided Henry with the male heir he desired, giving birth to the future King Edward VI. Sadly, Jane died of postnatal complications less than two weeks after giving birth, in October 1537, and she remains the only wife of Henry VIII to receive a queen’s funeral. 🌹👑
