The JOURNEY of an ARTIST - how desire and momentum can change over time

It's okay to have ups and downs as an artist - like anything in life it is to be expected. Embrace these cycles of being motivated, loosing it then finding it again. This can be especially true at the start of your art career. Momentum shifts and your desires change but your work will always remain the constant.

My very basic graph plots the changes in desire, momentum and the quality of work over time.

I gathered information from other artists who shared a similar story so this is certainly typical of my own experience but of course may not be typical of yours.

But you can certainly expect changes from time to time.
