We're off to the cobbles of Wetherfield now for the next TIYL instalment but unlike other Corrie themed episodes the book master Michael Aspel is not venturing to the iconic Rovers Return he's actually venturing to the hair salon which was then owned by Fiona Middleton the mother of recent newcomer to the street Emma Brooker Steve McDonald's long lost daughter alias Alexandra Mardell. The subject in question is a true Corrie legend who made her debut on the cobbles in 1979 and has been a permanent fixture ever since off screen she's married to another Corrie icon Mark Eden who played legendary baddie Alan Bradley from 1986-89 before he famously met his maker in front of a Blackpool tram after terrorizing poor Rita Tanner.
