It’s easy to get stuck playing the first basic drum beat you’ve ever learned. But today, I’m showing you how to break away from boring beats and turn them into fun and irresistible grooves.

A better example would be “Cold Sweat” by James Brown. The second back beat is on the “and” of 4 (of the first bar in a 2-bar phrase).
