Wildlife Videography, Winter Birds in Maryland

This is my first real attempt at wildlife videography, focusing on birds in winter conditions in Maryland.

The goal of this short one-minute video was not perfection, but learning — especially stabilization, timing, and reading bird movement in the field.

Filmed during a winter outing with frozen water and limited access, this clip captures a few quiet moments of birds landing, resting, and moving across the ice.

I’m still learning and experimenting, and this video is part of that process. More practice, more patience, and more time in nature ahead.
