Van Life 2020 episode 1 Leaving Romania

Finally! The van is built, finito and ready to hit the road. First stop from Ploiesti was Brasov as we had booked in a quick stop at the mechanic. Nothing serious, just a leaky clamp and a refill of the gearbox oil.

What we didn't expect was about a foot of snow for our first night of vanlife, fortunately though the heater was working a treat, and so after our friends came around for a visit, we cranked the heater and relaxed with a movie in our cozy warm Ford Transit home, or as we dub her, Ritzy Bubbles, the poshest thing we have owned!

It was such a relief and a pleasure to finally be in the home we built with our own two hands. 4 months of what felt like endless toil, and now we were on our way, our second time doing van life, and this time in style.
