The Ragged Tooth shark — known as the sand tiger shark in North America and the grey nurse shark in Australia — is one of South Africa's most iconic marine predators. Despite their fearsome appearance, these sharks are surprisingly docile, but their populations are under serious threat.

This documentary follows the dramatic biennial migration of Ragged Tooth sharks along the KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape coastline, revealing the remarkable biology, behaviour, and survival challenges of one of the ocean's most recognisable sharks.
