Game Recap: Penguins vs. Capitals (01.19.21) | Blueger's 5-on-3 Shorthanded Goal

The Penguins had an opportunity to defeat the Capitals in two straight games after dropping their first two contests of the season in Philadelphia. Jake Guentzel and Evgeni Malkin got the proverbial monkies off their backs, with each scoring their first of the season. Goaltender Casey DeSmith had an absolutely brilliant assist on a 5-on-3 shorthanded tally by Teddy Blueger. It was the first 5-on-3 shorthanded goal for the Penguins since Matt Cooke earned one in 2012.
