The San Antonio Spurs have a big decision to make. De'Aaron Fox had a disastrous NBA Finals. He averaged only 12.8 points on 34% shooting. Dylan Harper outplayed him off the bench. Now CBS Sports' Brad Botkin is suggesting the Spurs should trade Fox this summer.

Botkin wrote, "The Spurs would probably prefer to trade Fox, assuming they can get fair value back, if only to avoid the potential drama of benching him for Harper or having to walk the fine line all season of appeasing him."

Botkin floated a Kevin Durant-Fox swap as a possibility. He wrote, "The Rockets make sense. A Kevin Durant/Fox swap would make a measure of sense for both sides."

Durant was traded to the Houston Rockets last offseason in a massive seven-team deal. He averaged 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists this season. He shot 52% from the field and 41.3% from three.

The Rockets acquired Durant to make championship runs. Swapping him for Fox would signal a step back. It is unlikely Houston would be willing to do that.

But all it would take is the right offer for the Spurs to move off Fox's $229 million contract and land a future Hall of Famer.
