This is the hymn, 'Blessèd City, heavenly Salem', originally in Latin (c. 7th century), translated by J.M. Neale (1818-66) and set to the hymn tune REGENT SQUARE, composed by Henry Smart (1813-79). This hymn tune is commonly set to the hymn, 'Angels From the Realms of Glory'.

It was sung at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey on Monday 13th March 2017.
Sung by the Choir of Westminster Abbey. The hymn was arranged by James O'Donnell, the Director of Music at the Abbey.
