I'm not super familiar with sharing blueprints so there may be some kinks to work out.

I have since tested fluid wagons and the performance seems identical to item wagons. I'll share the blueprint for the "race track" test course just as soon as I figure out how to do that. I can even upgrade it with an automatic lap time calculator which I totally should have made before I started.
