Canon Rebel T5i/700D Disassembly and Main PCB Replacement

This is a disassembly of the Rebel T5i/700D/Kiss X7i to remove and replace the SD card slot on the main PCB/motherboard. I ended up buying a replacement SD card slot from eBay for $30 shipped from the US after having two of the same part lost in post twice from China (bought on Aliexpress).

Just a warning, the M1.7x5 coarse thread screws on this camera are *very* torqued down, you will need to use significant down force with a proper JIS screwdriver and apply torque with a pair of pliers on the screwdriver to get them loosened.

I am using the 600D parts catalog found here for reference (despite there being some minor differences between the 600D and 700D), I highly recommend printing a copy and following along during disassembly (I also make notes of anything special about the screws e.g. color): https://www.elektrotanya.com/canon_eos-600d_parts.pdf/download.html

I am using the Moody Tools JIS driver kit found here for disassembling the camera: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004PGO1T6

And storing screws in a Yongcun 24-compartment bead organizer found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KGQDNOW
I write in the various screw sizes in the compartments (M1.7x2,3,4,etc.) and check screw sizes against a to-scale printout that I drew in Fusion 360.
