There is a reason Steinway has been attempting to devalue used Steinways. It's because the biggest competition for a new Steinway is a used Steinway. And it's pianos like this one that push the boundaries of what a "used" piano should be, as this one easily rivals any new Steinway made in the last 5 years. I'd go as far as to say it's better than many of their new instruments. This was painstakingly restored by Meyer Pianos, and as always they did a phenomenal job with this one. This is the very same L I found at the 2020 NAMM show, so it will be interesting to see how it sounds in this controlled environment.
