Toyota Starlet Kp61 Restoration - Paint stripping Episode 1

First step of the KP61 restoration begins 🔧

Stripping my Starlet right back to bare metal to see what I’m really working with… no hiding anything. Years of paint, filler, and surprises getting removed layer by layer.

As expected, there’s rust hiding underneath — some worse than I thought — but that’s all part of bringing this car back properly.

This is where the real journey starts.
