How Our Channel Works:
- As severe storms approach Middle Tennessee, we begin our live broadcast to provide at a minimum, Live Radar, so everyone has a visual of the storms distance.
- As storms intensify into the area, our stream evolves into a Quad-Screen, showing a combination of live weather streams, cameras, and expert commentators all at once, offering multiple perspectives to help you stay informed about the storm’s development and impact.
- NEW** At your request, as a courtesy, on days of typical rain we will now broadcast "Rain Radar"!! A simply service with no quad-screen, just a constant radar visual so you can see the incoming rain and plan your day.
***Important Reminders:***

- Be sure to be watching or listening to another source of live weather information! TV, Radio, have something else providing live details! We're here to provide visuals for what you maybe seeing on other sources.

FAQ
Why isn't Sumner County centered on the radar map?
- Since our emphasis is our county and approaching storms, we position the map to put the county at an angle where you can see the storms approach. Giving you a better visual of the storms distance and timing. So, if the storm is coming in from the west, we will push our county to the east. Or, if the storm is coming from the south, we will push our county to the north.
What are those Noises in the background?!?
- SWEEP/SWOOSH = New Radar info received from the NWS.
- 3 BUZZERS = A Thunderstorm and/or Tornado Watch has been issued somewhere within the US. (If within our region, will be prompted with a visual of a YELLOW polygon.)
- Air Raid Siren = A Tornado Warning has been issued somewhere within the US. (If within our region, will be prompted with a visual of a RED polygon.)
