भारत आणि अफगाणिस्तान संघातल्या कसोटी सामन्याला आज सुरूवात झाली. पंजाबच्या मल्लानपूर सुरू असलेल्या या सामन्यात भारतानं पहिल्या दिवसअखेर ३ बाद ३६८ धावांची मजल मारली. सलामीच्या लोकेश राहुल आणि कर्णधार शुभमन गिल यांची खणखणीत शतकं हे भारताच्या डावाचं वैशिष्ट्य ठरलं. राहुलनं १०० धावांची खेळी केली. त्यानं दुसऱ्या विकेटसाठी साई सुदर्शनसह शतकी भागीदारीसी साकारली. सुदर्शन ८१ धावांवर बाद झाला. पहिल्या दिवसाचा खेळ संपला तेव्हा गिल नाबाद १०३ तर रिषभ पंत ५० धावांवर खेळत होता. अफगाणिस्तानकडून सलीम मोहम्मदनं २ तर झियाउर रहमाननं एक विकेट घेतली.
