UPSTATE NEW YORK CORN HARVEST 2018

My obsession with farming soybean and corn is obvious to my family. The day after Thanksgiving 2018, I took a ride on the country side of Chili, N.Y. so see what was going on. I took my dog, Lucky, with me. I was astonished to spot a truck load of corn on North Rd. I soon found the corn harvest location off Scottsville-Chili Rd. I started shooting video at the John Deere equipment and the staff. It was freezing. The temperature was 19 at the time of the video shoot.
At the end, I followed one of the trucks with a full load of corn to the farm. The truck led me to the Stein Farm off Wheatland Center Rd. I was familiar with this farm but never had the courage to drive right in and ask permission to do a video shoot.
I think that I was talking to Mr. Stein himself and he game me his blessing. He and his staff are a great team of farmers.
I have posted a few videos of farming but I must say that this video is the best!
One of his staff recognized me from prior video productions. He didn't know that I had posted the video on YOU-TUBE.
The final scene of this video was a mistake by the driver but it made a great finale. It was like a yellow waterfall. It was a corn fall.
They just got a tractor with a plow to push it in the chamber. No loss.
