Announcing The Courtauld Gallery's 2024 exhibitions and displays programme! ✨
Highlights include Claude Monet’s Impressionist paintings of London, reunited for the first time in 120 years. The series has never been the subject of a UK exhibition and will realise Monet’s unfulfilled ambition of showing this extraordinary group of paintings in London.
A remarkable series of hauntingly beautiful, large-scale charcoal portraits by Frank Auerbach will go on display in the Spring. Produced in post-war London in the 1950s and 1960s, today these works are considered some of Auerbach's early masterpieces.
Next Summer, explore an exhibition of works by acclaimed British photographer Roger Mayne (1929-2014), as well as Henry Moore: Shadows on the Wall (in collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation), and the first exhibition at The Courtauld dedicated to the bold, abstract work of Vanessa Bell.
