Navigating Unpredictable Weather: To Change Course or Push Forward? SAILING ZEPHYR - Ep. 217

Sometimes sailing just isn't fun! It's cold, nasty, uncomfortable and you feel an immense tidal wave of suffering overtaking your body and mind. You continue to push the boat forward, hoping things will get better, but the suffering continues or gets worse. So why do it?

If you sail long enough you are going to experience days at sea that make you question why you even live on a sailboat. Or worse, why you even own a sailboat. It's true the highs are so incredible, but the lows can be so overpowering.

In this episode we do everything we can to prepare for a relatively short 2 day, 285nm passage. We have triple checked the weather, planned our route, prepped the boat and pointed her bow out to sea.

But even with all the supposed I´s dotted and T´s crossed...things just don't go as planned. So what do we end up doing?
