Bailey Sarian: “What are we going to do?!”

True Crime Youtuber Bailey Salian made a very interesting upload yesterday wherein she's at her wit's end. Like a lot of Americans, she's asking the question "what are we going to do?" like "what are the American citizens going to do?" And she kept going, "I'm not crazy, I'm just losing my mind, okay?" Girl, we get you, we're with you on that. Us Canadians are with you on that too. But she doesn't answer the question of "what are we going to do?" and I just found that very interesting. The social media shortform content from American citizens that is reaching us in Canada is saying a lot of the same things. "Things are bad. I'm feeling every negative emotion right now. What are we going to do?" It's almost like that scene in the Wizard of Oz where the man is going, "Don't look behind the curtain!" and the American citizens are realizing that there's a lot of shady people doing a lot of shady stuff, both behind closed doors and out in the open. It's all come to light now, especially with the public release of a particular set of files... and the people are asking in their videos "What are we going to do?" instead of saying what they feel the answer is, which is radical system change. It's going to be the most uncomfortable stuff to sit through and to sift through and to take action on but if you don't take action on it you're going to continue to have these kinds of things happen and it's going to get worse because the people who are in power right now in the States are biting their teeth in deeper. They're trying to set down roots to stay and they're trying to burn bridges in and out. So to answer the question, you know what you need to do; you need radical system change. Everybody's told to be nice and complicit or complacent in the system and so this is going to be very uncomfortable for everybody involved. Heck it's so uncomfortable that you don't even say the answer in your videos, which is -- say it with me -- radical system change! and I get it, it feels so anti American and against everything that you were taught growing up to do so, but believe me when I say, "what can be more American than loving your country so hard that you want to fix it?" this thing already has legs, you just got to move with it. I'm just saying clean up your stuff and that you can clean it up and that your neighbors will probably help you do it.
