Restoring future from the past | Kienzle Life 2002 from the 1970s watch restoration

This time I am doing a restoration of a retrofuturistic watch, Kienzle Life 2002, which I bought online.

Sellers usually show you the mechanism, but this one didn't. He claimed he couldn't open the watch. I had a bad feeling about this one, but anyway, I went with a purchase since I like mechanical digital watches and it wasn't a big investment. As it turned out, my bad feeling was right.

As you will see in this video, this watch had multiple breaks. Hairspring was destroyed, but I luckily found a fitting replacement in my drawer. Also, the center wheel pivot was broken. I didn't have a replacement for it, so I made a new pivot and attached it to the existing staff.
