This Is Us won by a nose — but high-speed camera footage captured him crossing the finish line with his tongue fully extended, creating an accidental near-perfect recreation of Lightning McQueen's photo finish from the Pixar film Cars.
Race officials subsequently issued a statement confirming that only the nose is used to officially determine the winner in a photo finish, not the tongue. The ruling stands. Oh! This Is Us won.
