How important is rudder and aileron coordination with respect to learning to land? It's very very important. One of the main reasons student pilots have difficulty learning to land is that their rudder and aileron coordination skills are not as good as they need to be when beginning landing practice. Let me show some compelling evidence to support this idea based on a 1940s CAA study.
