Power OFF phone.

Remove SIM tray.

Heat and remove back cover.

Disconnect battery.

Remove mainboard shield.

Inspect LCD connector.

Clean connector with IPA.

Check LCD flex for damage.

Confirm screen is original (not copy).

Test by replacing LCD temporarily.

If no light but display visible → backlight fault.

Check backlight voltage output.

Locate backlight coil near connector.

Test coil continuity.

Replace coil if open / burnt.

Check backlight diode.

Replace diode if shorted.
