Saturday Morning Poetry with Ann Wallace - Barbara Kingsolver

We were honored to speak with Best-selling author Barbara Kingsolver for the Hudson County Chapter's poetry series, Saturday Morning Poetry with Ann Wallace. Barbara shared three of her nature poems with us from her book How to Fly (In Ten Thousand Easy Lessons) including “The Hands of Trees, "Great Barrier," and "Love Poem with Birds."

Barbara Kingsolver is the author of many bestselling works of fiction, including Demon Copperhead (to be released on October 18, 2022), Unsheltered, Flight Behavior, The Lacuna, The Poisonwood Bible, and Animal Dreams. She has also published two books of poetry—Another America and How to Fly—as well as creative nonfiction and essays. She was awarded the National Humanities Medal, our country’s highest honor for service through the arts, as well as the Dayton Literary Peace Prize for the body of her work.
