E3D - Cabling System ( Cable way )
This is part 1 of 3 parts about the Cabling System application in AVEVA E3D . It's time the Electrical discipline gets involved in 3D design. Using Cableway, Electrical Engineers can start the project by reserving space for their cables and cable tray. Cables can be routed on these cableways. With the cables routed, accurate lengths of cables can be extracted from the 3D model. If you like to control your cable material in your project, you can now. Lastly you can use the cable way to add the cable trays, again giving advance material requirements for your cable trays. At the same time, you can study the amount of cables in the trays so that you can balance the cables on them. Cabling system is an application that will save you money in your project. Watch this video to find out more about it.
